Actually, I was going to post this picture a few days ago, but got sidetracked. Lately, Cole has been going around wearing just one glove. Sometimes it's a red glove, sometimes it's a spiderman one, in the pic above, it's his sister's glove that has a butterfly on it. He'll wear it around for a full day even. This particular day, he had spent the day with me at my office, and trotted around everywhere with his one hand covered. The volunteers and staff thought it was hilarious and said, Somtimes you just have to pick your battles, don't you? We went camping that night and he still wore it (see above). He also went to his siblings' school ceremonies, so now his future teachers and principal have all seen Cole wearing his one glove like it's the most normal thing in the world.
I knew he didn't know who Michael Jackson was, and was trying to think of what character or cartoon he might have seen and was imitating. Finally, after hearing bits and pieces of his conversation in the car, we figured out where he got the idea . . .he said he wanted to be like Daddy . . .who wears one glove on his hand -when he golfs. Well, that was certainly a relief!
