Connor's Baseball Games

Connor tried out baseball for the first time this summer. He was on a league for 4-6year olds, and since his 7th birthday fell one week past the cutoff, you could definitely tell he was the oldest of the bunch. He did a great job hitting the ball . . .fielding is another matter. We lovingly call him our "space cadet", and trying to pay attention while you wait for a little kid to hit the ball every 8 or so pitches would be difficult for anyone. Had he been in an older league, he may have had a little more fun. Anyway, it was fun to watch him hit the ball, make piles of rocks, and give the runner a high-five when he was fielding first base.

Here a couple of his cheering fans:

He probably chatted with the girls during the game more than anything.

Do you think someone could have tried a little harder to come up with a sponsor for the team?

Cute pictures of the kiddos. Guess the shirt will stay in the drawer?
